BEFORE ME I HAVE EVER SET THE LORD (SHIVITI A-DONAY)
 Ps 16:8-9 - SATB a cappella. Traditionally found in the Yizkor (Memorial) service recited on four major Jewish holy days, and in the funeral rite.  Additionally, the first verse is often the subject of wall plaques hung on synagogue walls for spiritual contemplation and meditation.

PSALM 117 - SOLO and/or UNISON CHOIR with SOLO INSTRUMENT (flute or violin, oboe, piccolo trumpet or clarinet) and piano or organ.  "Praise the Lord all nations.  Praise Him all ye people.  For His mercy unto us is great, and the truth of the Lord endures forever.  Hallelujah."  The joyful universalistic verses speak of undying love and faithfulness.  This jubilant Baroque-style setting may be sung by children's voice(s).
